Heritage & History
In the early 1970s, Venerable Seang Heng (常恒法师) spearheaded the renovation project of Lin San Temple. Under his leadership, the temple flourished and became increasingly popular, attracting many followers who came to worship Buddha or participate in Buddhist classes.
Twenty years ago, Lin San Temple was declared an unsafe structure and required a complete rebuild. Thanks to the community's unwavering support and successful fundraising efforts, the dream of rebuilding Lin San Temple has finally become a reality.
Now located at 27 Lorong 12 Geylang, Singapore 399004, the newly rebuilt Lin San Temple is a fully air-conditioned, three-story Buddhist temple offering a serene, elegant environment for devotees, featuring luxurious freehold columbarium niches and ancestral tablets.
